Spring is on its way! As the days get longer and the spring flowers start to pop up their colourful heads, our thoughts at K Interiors are turning towards the joyous spring colour palette.
Spring colours are reflective of the season’s natural palette: fresh, playful, vibrant, uplifting, energising and clean. Think warm, bright shades, such as sunshine yellow, fresh greens, satsuma orange and fuchsia, mirroring the shades of spring tulips.
Spring is all about change and optimism - the perfect opportunity to refresh your home interiors by introducing a splash of colour and pattern. To create a home you love to live in, it’s important to understand which colours bring you joy, but remember you don’t need to go all out, as even small changes will have an impact on your interior.d est laborum.
To give your space a little lift, you could simply paint a fireplace, change up the cushions on your sofa, add some new accessories or lighting in your favourite spring colours. A lovely vase of gorgeous spring flowers will make a difference to how a room feels and the emotional response you have to it.
🔹Light and bright, invigorating, optimism-inducing shades
🔹 Use of reflective surfaces or materials, like glass and mirrors or a sparkly chandelier, to make the most of the spring light and longer days
🔹 Busy prints and patterns echoing all the frenetic spring activity going on in the natural world.
🔹 Fresh and modern style – contemporary clean lines
Are you a spring person? How does the spring palette make you feel? For us at K Interiors, it feels like joy, hope and new beginnings.
If you’d like to explore which seasonal colour palette you are most connected with, and how to incorporate that season’s colours into your home interiors, a great first step is to book one of our Inspire Sessions
During these sessions, we will visit you in your home and spend time listening to what you hope to achieve, offering insider practical ideas and easy design tips.
The session will also include an in-depth colour consultation, where we analyse your colour preferences and which of the seasonal palettes is most suited to you in terms of maximum enjoyment of your home and also design longevity. Interestingly, most people are drawn to one, or sometimes a mix of two, of the four seasonal colour palettes we use in interior design colour psychology.
Knowing how to mix these different seasons together successfully is key to achieving interior harmony.
You can also book a free call here to discuss any interior projects you have in mind.
In the meantime, enjoy the brighter mornings, longer days and what we hope will be a warm, dry and positive spring, filled with amazing colour - both in your home interiors and the great outdoors.
Look out for our notes on the summer palette in the next few months.
